The top swivel pin on early models utilized a spring & cone setup. Later models did away with this setup and instead used a bush & pin, called a Railko bush. The swivel pin on early models are a press fit in the steering control arms and have a roll pin pushed through to prevent the swivel pin spinning in the arm (may be easier to drill through both when pushed in to provide new aligned hole for roll pin). This kit allows you to remove the old swivel pin (designed for spring & cone) and fit the new swivel pin (designed for railko bush).

Press out cone seat from swivel housing, press in railko bush into housing and that's it. Fit the fibre thrust washer into base of railko bushing and assemble the complete unit, tighten down the top swivel pin to achieve no less than 5kg of preload (turning resistance), and use included shims under top swivel pin flange to achieve this preload.
