Please note: This is NOT how Land Rover wants you to buy the switch for a D3, infact the upper tailgate switch for D3's is part of the entire number plate lamp assembly. This switch is available as a seperate part for the Range Rover Sport, and is the same unit, difference being that you will have to cut your wires on the vehicle and join to wires hanging out of this switch.

Help tip: Easy way to open upper tailgate is to simultaneously depress both lock and unlock buttons on your dash facia for about 3 seconds, you'll hear the upper tailgate lock activate and unlock.
