Purchased the aftermarket front prop-shaft (the cheap one), worn out in no time and had to swap it over for another one (still under warranty). The second shaft lasted approximately 6 months worth of driving (nothing off-road, just light-medium weight towing i.e. <2T), however, out of warranty due to car not being used for a while. Pulled down the second shaft and found the UJs were already worn i.e. marked, and that the centre bearing of the double cardan joint was totally stuffed. Also, the rubber boot was badly split only after this very short time. Hence, I strongly recommend not using them.

Fit cheap only if selling car, otherwise better to get GKN. Had two cheap aftermarket fail within 6 months, upgraded to GKN and still going after 2 years no probs.
