JUST TO CONFUSE YOU:

Land Rover gearboxes have a suffix letter (which means a letter at the end of a number). So, there is suffix 'A', 'B', 'C', and so on (very important), then, a very wise person working for Land Rover decided to start from 'A' again with the introduction of the full synchromesh gearbox, forgetting that we have 26 letters in the alphabet.  And the best bit is.....Most are stamped on the transfer case!
